Global Center for Research and Study (GCRS)
GCRS respects the privacy of scholars, contributors, institutional partners, reviewers, fellows, conference participants, policy correspondents, and visitors. Information submitted through contact forms, manuscript inquiries, fellowship correspondence, event registration, expert consultation requests, or collaboration proposals is used only for academic, editorial, administrative, research, and institutional communication.
Information We May Collect
We may collect names, email addresses, institutional affiliations, job titles, research interests, inquiry details, submission metadata, reviewer expertise, conference participation details, and correspondence history. Technical information such as browser type, IP-derived security logs, page requests, referral sources, and file access records may be processed to protect the website, maintain archives, and understand resource use.
How Information Is Used
Information may be used to respond to inquiries, coordinate editorial review, manage research collaborations, verify contributor identity, arrange events, evaluate fellowship or reviewer interest, maintain digital archives, improve site navigation, and protect GCRS systems from misuse. We do not use submitted academic material for unrelated commercial targeting.
Sharing and Retention
GCRS does not sell personal information. Information may be shared internally with relevant editorial, conference, research, compliance, or administrative teams when needed to respond to an inquiry or process academic material. Limited information may be shared with service providers, indexing partners, peer reviewers, event collaborators, or institutional partners when necessary for legitimate academic operations.
Records are retained for as long as needed for institutional accountability, publication history, research integrity, audit trails, and legal or administrative requirements. Nonessential correspondence may be periodically reviewed and removed when it is no longer operationally useful.
Contributor Rights and Security
Visitors and contributors may request correction of inaccurate contact information, clarification about stored correspondence, or removal from nonessential communication lists. GCRS applies reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no public website or email channel can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.
